Drums & Percussion
Drum lessons are a great way for anyone interested in playing the drums to learn and improve their skill. The student will learn how to set up and tune the drum set, play basic rhythms and beats, and develop hand and foot coordination. They will also learn how to read drum notation, play different styles of music, and improvise.
Guitar
During the lessons, the student will learn how to hold and tune the guitar, play basic chords and scales, and read guitar tablature or sheet music. They will also learn various strumming and picking techniques, as well as how to improvise and play solos.
Voice & piano
SAM Academy offers comprehensive piano and vocal lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Our instructors are highly experienced and passionate about music education, and provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for all of our students. Our piano lessons are designed to teach students how to play the piano, read sheet music, and develop a strong musical foundation. During the voice lessons, the student will learn to breathe correctly, produce a clear and resonant tone, and develop their vocal range and agility.
Violin
The student will learn how to hold and position the violin and bow, develop proper bowing and fingering techniques, and produce a clear and beautiful tone. As the student progresses, the lessons will become more challenging, with a focus on advanced techniques such as vibrato, shifting, and double stops. They may also cover topics such as music history, music theory, and ensemble playing.
