Program Overview

SAM Academy’s Piano Program offers individualized instruction focused on music literacy, technique development, and performance skills. Students learn in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence.

Hours: M-F | 2:00 PM — 7:00 PM (Class times based on instructor availability).

Lessons Offered: Piano

Lesson Length: 30 Minutes.

Cost: $35 per lesson.

Age Range: Preschool & up — tailored lessons are available for young children.

Beginning Piano

Keyboard layout and finger numbers
Proper posture and hand position
Basic rhythm and note reading
Simple melodies and coordination exercises
Introduction to scales and hand independence
Basic music theory concepts
Foundations of healthy practice habits

Intermediate Piano

Expanded scales and key signatures
Chord progressions and harmony
Improved hand independence and coordination
Intermediate-level repertoire
Dynamics, articulation, and expression
Introduction to accompaniment patterns
Ensemble and duet playing

Advanced Piano

Advanced scales, arpeggios, and technique
Complex rhythms and advanced repertoire
Musical interpretation and phrasing
Improvisation and stylistic studies
Solo and ensemble performance preparation
Audition and competition readiness
Stage presence and performance confidence
